What's a sidestepper in Mario Kart Tour, and how do you take one out? We've got the answers in this guide.
One of Mario Kart Tour's recurring challenges is the Take Out 5 Sidesteppers challenge, which has been around from the beginning. If you're just now seeing it, though, and wonder what exactly you're supposed to do to take them out, never fear.
The guide below has all of the steps you need to quickly complete this MKT challenge.
What are Mario Kart Tour Sidesteppers?
Sidesteppers are those crab things you see on beach courses. You might recognize from the original Mario Bros. game. They're often green, and (surprise), they move sideways — hence the name.
You'll find them primarily on these courses:
- Koopa Troopa Beach
- Cheep Cheep Lagoon
How to Take Out Sidesteppers
"Take out" in this challenge name means attack, as opposed to go out for a nice dinner. Fortunately, it's quite easy to take out Sidesteppers, too.
All you need to do is attack them with an item or, if you don't have an item on hand, ram them with your kart — simple as that.
It doesn't appear you need to get all 5 in one go either, as the game keeps a count of how many you've destroyed.
